CARDIO OR WEIGHT TRAINING??

We have all wondered at one time or another, which is better for weight loss and overall health.  Should our workout solely focus on cardio or on weight training?  If you search the internet, you will find countless articles supporting the benefits of each.  So, what is correct?  Have you asked a fitness or medical professional?  Sometimes it leaves you even more confused.  Not to mention, most of us have a preference for what we would actually rather do.  Some of us hate cardio and others hate weights.

The reality is that cardio workouts burns more calories than a weighttraining workout. However, your metabolism may stay elevated for longer after weights than cardio (helping you burn calories while NOT working out), and weight lifting is better for building muscle.  Keep in mind that this doesn’t have to mean body building!  Just looking TONED!  Who doesn’t want that?

So my conclusion is that the ideal exercise program for improving body composition and health includes cardio and weights. Want more information?  Contact MobilityRx.
